Perception of messages is not as society, we are learning how to interact with people who culturally have different beliefs, values, and attitudes. For the initial post, address the following: straightforward as we need it to be, nor as easy. Additionally, in our changing How can our understanding of perception help us become more effective communicators? Think of time when you interacted with someone from a different culture. Using the communication model, how did your conversation evolve? Was there a miscommunication? What could you have done differently?

# . Perception is how we perceive things, in what way we see and make the meaning out of the understanding . Different people talk , walk , eat moreover they are not alike . Everyone in this world is different and also their perception . Having correct perception is most important because if the messenger and receiver don't have the same understanding of the message send it will lead to ineffective communication . To have an understanding perception you should have a good communication skills which will help to have or perceive things in the same way the co partner is having about a topic .

#. Yes , I have a good example of interaction with some one who belongs to a different culture and beliefs. It was a Muslim lady from Afghanistan who was so strict about her cultural practices . During our conversation she was fully covered with burkha and was using her own regional language to communicate as she was able to understand what I was asking her but was able to reply in English . So ,I used a communicator to get the history of her child who was suffering from bone tumor. Along with the help of communicator I used the skills of communication like having eye contact , using privacy and maintaining confidentiality , nodding ,asking open ended questions were used to make her comfortable . There was no miscommunication .

#. I haven't done anything differently , I just used my communication skills to get the answers of the questions by making her comfortable and understanding her language issue .
