I have chosen an example of mobile phone marketing.
Companies should focus on changing customer demands, capability of company to offer better product at effective price. Updated research and development team that could develop appealing product to all age groups and aggressive marketing message.
If a company does not have a good marketing plan then even if they have better products it will go out of competition. Eg. Nokia.
A company with good aggressive marketing plan can make serious inroads in other companies market share. Example: Samsung.
Today's world is mobile application based. Social media applications, better camera and good battery life (which are product features ) need to be updated every now and then. As society changes, companies need to change product. From a basic phone to smartphone with artificial intelligence.
Hence updated market research and continuous feedback about product should be the most important part of marketing plan.
