Answer #1

Given is:-

Radius of the ring a0.15m

Total charge on the ring  24nC

Now,

the circumference of the circular ring is given by

C = 2 pi r

by plugging the radius we get

C-2T(0.15

C 0.9425772

and the charge density is given by

lambda = rac{Q}{C}

24× 10-9 0.9425

which gives us

oxed{lambda = 2.55 imes 10^{-8}C/m}

    A uniformly charged, thin ring has radius 15.5 cm and total charge +23.3 nC.
