Hi this is a discussion that posted by my classmate. can anyone please response to her atleast 200 words that you are agree with her. it is regarding HOW BACTERIA TALK. thanks.
Although they are combatting the issue on figuring out a way to block communication between bad bacteria but continue communication of good bacteria. Another issue to look into would be that if they are stopping communication between bad bacteria is the bacteria still going to be able to multiply and just "hang out" in the host. Also if there is a possibility that this anti-quorum sensing drug is able to change the behavior of bacteria, there could possibly be a change is how the bacteria act in our bodies. It could become a good bacteria taking out its harmful components. Along with killing off of denying communication between bad bacteria, and influx in good bacteria can happen. A certain percentage of good bacteria can be harmful to our bodies as well. Antibiotics also given to farm animals was decreased in order to hopefully slow down the antibiotic resistance, if we were able to make sure this anti-quorum sensing drug was not going to create resistance in bacteria, there would be a possibility of giving them to farm animals again. There may be a decrease in even more bad bacteria seen in the populations.
Answer: Bacteria communicates with each other through the chemical signal molecules. Those bacteria which helps our body to perform better function is considered to be a good bacteria such as those found in our gut system, which helps in our body to digest the food.
But their are many bad bacteria that causes many of the diseases. To cure diseases these bacterias have to be killed from the body. Diseases such as tuberculosis etc. Are bacterial disease where antibiotics are generally given to kill the bacterial growth. But if medicine not taken properly or the session of the drug is not completed then bacteria becomes resistant towards that antibiotics.
