Polymer of propene is known as polypropene (polypropylene) which is thermoplastic polymer. Propene (propylene) is polymerized into following three ways :-

(I) - When propene polymerized in such a way that consisting of sequences of monomer units (propene) having the different steric arrangement phased at random do not crystallized well are called as atactic polymers.

(II) - When propene polymerized in such a way as to yield long linear head to tail consisting of sequences of monomer units (propene) having the same steric structures are called as isotactic polymers. These polymers easily crystallized.

(III) - When propene polymerized in such a way that consisting of sequences of monomer units (propene) having regular , alternating structure are called as syndyotactic polymers.
