* Florence nightingales environmental theory which states that

" is an act of utilizing the environment of the patient to assist him

   in his recovery " has practical application in critical care,pediatrics

   or psychiatric nursing.

Impact in nursing had on this theory.

     * This theory help to understand importance of creating a therapeutic

       environment as a part of nursing care for easy recovery from illness.

    * It help the nurses enhance quality of care through applying environmental

      theory in clinical practice.

    * It initiate nursing researchers to study more about influence of environment

      related to patient care.

* Nightingale support her theory from observing patient during nursing practice by

   states that effective controlling of environment can maintain health and prevent

   disease and poor environment lead to poor health and disease.

* Florence nightingale participated in caring of injured soldiers during crimean war
