ONC does not include the policy to support the EHR incentive programs and its edition.

*The ONC Health IT Certification Program is to support multiple programs and setting needs such as :
EHR incentive programs
-Long term and post-acute care
-Chronic care management
-Behavioral health
-Other public and private programs etc.
#Drug-drug, Drug-allergy Interaction Checks for CPOE
The health IT allows a user to adjust the level for drug-drug interaction interventions provided. This functionally does not need to be provided to every user, testing and certification will ensure that the functionally exists for authorized users. This functionally only adjusts what may display to an end user. It does not change the severity level/clinical significance of interaction or contraindication but allows authorized users to tailor the interventions the users receive.
*The ability to adjust drug-drug, drug allergy/interactions should be able to be limited to a defined set of users.
*Identified set of users means the technology must enable a provider to assign only certain users eg: Specific Providers, system administration with the ability to adjust severity levels for drug-drug,drug-allergy interaction interventions
