ACE inhibitors and angiotensin reverse blockers in simple blocks conversion of angiotensin 2 to angiotensin 1 leading to vasodilation and decreasing blood pressure

Adrenergic blocking drugs leads to vasodilation in the veins and arteries and decreasing the blood pressure

Calcium channel blockers inhibit the calcium entering into cells and leading to dilated blood vessels to decrease blood pressure

Thiazide acts on the renal system by increasing the excretion of fluid with sodium and thus decreasing hypertension
