Cognitive development Theory

Theory of Cognitive development is proposed by Jean Piaget, a Swiss developmental psychologist. In this theory he focused on the different stages cognitive development of a child. According to Piaget's theory 'stages cognitive development , there are four stages; * Sensory motor stage

* Preoperational stage

* concerete operational stage

* formal operational stage.

Difference between Pre-operational stage and Concrete Operational stage:

Pre- operational stage ( 2- 7years) Concrete Operational

stage ( 7- 11 years)
