Question

The moons distance from the earth is ~ 3.84 × 108m. A laser pointer is mounted on a turntable such that its beam repeatedly sweeps over the surface of the moon. If it rotates at a period of 4s, prove that its impact spot travels across the moon at about twice the speed of light. Why does this not violate the law that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light?
