Answer #1

Troponin T and troponin I are the proteins released when the cardiac muscles has been damaged, as damage occurs in the hear attack. If the damage is more, the release of troponins will be more in the blood. A troponin test measures the amount of troponin T or troponin I proteins in the blood to estimate the damage of cardiac muscle.

D-dimer is a fibrin degradation product, a small protein fragment present in the blood after a blood clot is degraded by fibrinolysis. It is so named because it contains two D fragments of the fibrin protein joined by a cross-link. A D-dimer test is a blood test that can be used to help rule out the presence of a serious blood clot.
