Answer: Nurse should abide by their scope of practice but also by their code of erhics because nursing profession is a lifelong learning process. This enables them to deliver quality of care to the patients. Nurse need to indulge code of ethics in their practice because this ethics creates a platform to deliver quality of care to the patients. Autonomy, repecting the difference, beneficence, as well as no harm to the patients etc involves in the code of ethics. Nurse should indulge themselves to provide better treatment to the patients. Nurse should eliminate the risk of medical errors, negligence etc.

There are several laws that provides rights to the employees. Some of the laws includes such as right to healthcare, right to equality in the organization etc. Employees can use their rights when there is need. One of the specific protection that Maria has being an employee at McDonald as she can use the rights that includes Discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
