Pain is an unpleasant experience which can hinder a person from doing daily activities

There are various methods used to relieve pain. Some are as following

  • Medication used to block the neurotransmitter effects by controlling the prostaglandins release which causes pain
  • There are injections which are administered directly at the site of pain usually intrathecal in joint pain to relieve it.
  • The others are trigger point injection, acupuncture
  • Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation therapy to relieve pain
  • Physical therapy ,exercise enables active and passive movements relieving pain
  • Acupuncture,Chiropractice massage ,relaxation therapy etc., can be an alternative form to relieve pain
  • Relieving the stress can greatly comfort a patient from getting relieved from pain
