PRENATAL INFLUENCES: it is defined as the temporary operations of the mind or physical conditions of the parents previous to birth, which stamp their impress upon the new life.

Stages of prenatal development: It is divided in to 3 stages which is the time between conception and birth. They are a) the germinal stage b) the embryonic stage and c) the fetal stage.

INFLUENCES ON PRENATAL PERIOD: Many of the critical periods often occur durin the first 3 months of pregnancy which affects the growth and development of a fetus. For instance; undernutrition. During this period of a life, the child forms a shape of a body, a character of mind and purity of soul as by the direct wills of their parents. Moreover, biological and psychological factors like maternal age, maternal nutrition, health state and teratogens or toxins also have the largest effects on the prenatal development as same as to usage of tobacco, alcohol and drug in both the parents. In view to these effects, many have suggested the mothers to remain to a positive state of mind to improve or hamper the psychophysical prenatal development by creating a positive and safe ambience in the family. On top of this, an parents have greater influences on their children. From the period of conception to giving brth to a child, every step of the way should be spread with pure thought.
