Subject : Seek permission to work from home for 1 week

This is to bring to your kind notice that most of the organizations nowadays offer work from home facility. This would help in reducing the unnecessary expenditure on transportation and administrative expenses and to increase the productivity of the employees as it avoids unnecessary stress faced by the employees coming to office everyday. So I would like to seek your opinion for offering one day in a week work from home facility. This is a proposal from my end and I need to discuss this issue in person with you at the earliest.
