They function by the vibration that changes the sound waves to move outward. transducer contains a large array of crystals which allow it to make a series of image lines together. the major difference between pulse-wave $ continous wave transducer is that the pulse wave has working ability at high frequencies but has depth amity. In the case of continous wave, the transducer has no signal aliasing but have depth. It means the signals that are not pulsed.
