Martin luther king.Jr was an american leader who believed wholeheartedly the principles of ahimsa(non violence) propagated by mahata gandhi. He is known prominently for his bus boycott making the segregation of whites and negroes as unconstitutional , earning much the wrath of others . He was subjected to personal abuse,his house being bombarded even though he raised as a negro leader of the first rank. He is also a great negotiator . He believes that every negotiation should start with good-faith negotiations. Kings view on negotiation are as follows

• Negotiations must be two sided with both sides standing on equal footing
• an environment of trust should be there betwen the parties
• each party must accept and follow the results of negotiations
• if the negotiation process fails then the process should be improved by offering bigger alternatives to the other parties
