Assignment 1: Write a paper on well-known, famous and top negotiators in the world. Select only one negotiator, talk about their methods, their advice, what makes them successful negotiators, their personalities, and any other details you see appropriate to include . To exclude from your selection (do not present about) Nelson Mandela and Henry Kissinger.

Writing about Gandhi here can be relevant:

Personality: Charismatic, having a mystic element about himself. Spiritual and also adaptable in his negotiations, as he held sway on his followers.

Methods: Non violence, made it possible for the government to negotiate with him, as he could ensure there wouldn't be any violence, if the agreement was reached.
What gave him strength was his ability to sway his followers and convince them of the negotiations.

S-T-S: Struggle-Truce-Struggle: He knew large movements, agitations could nit last forever and hence, would not hesitate to call off the movement, thereby not being anarchial/ revolutionary and having a firm control on the direction of the independence movement in India.

This made him a great leader and also a respected opponent.
