Imagine you are the primary decision-maker for the organization that is considering funding the HIV program. What question(s) about the implementation or evaluation of the program still need to be answered before you can make your decision? Think about gaps that remain, limitations that may exist, etc.
Before funding for the HIV programme I should ensure that if the planning is "combination Prevention" which include Biomedical , behaviour and structural intervention. UNAIDS, United Nations programme for HIV/AIDS , recommend that this combination interention approach should be like that it focus first on the community whose most affected , have more prevalence rate than others. For implementation of combination iterventions recommend by UNAIDS, I would like the ask folkowing question
1. What is epidemiology of HIV in area , where programme is being started? It is important to know which community, which gender and which age group is most affected. And what mode of transmission is prevalent in area. Geographic variation of Disease. Rural or Urban? Size of the affected population wud be asked.
2. I would ask about the involved stakeholders. What government officials, cultural leaders, civil societies included in programme?
3. I would ask for the tools by which Response Data will be collected, monitoring of the programme and evaluation will be done.
4. i would ask for any other legal, social, cultral factor whose are contributor in Prevalence. Such as persons, who are not sex-educated are more affected. Anal transmission in homosexuals are common. So analysis of these factors are required.
5. I would ask for legal, cultral factor whose can be problematic in programme implementation. Such as gender inequality etc.
6. If Planning is including all 3 components of combination intervention.
Planning of programme , based on answer of above question, would be eligible for fund.

Non Profit Interests Paul Champion works in the nonprofit sector at a grassroots HIV/AIDS program in the Bay Area. As with many such organizations, this small nonprofit struggled with funding and had to reorganize its programs. "Given the limited resources, there were often debates amongst leaders under financial pressure in the HIV/AIDS nonprofit world about what resources should be given priority: prevention or treatment," says Paul. Supporting prevention would mean devoting funds to educational efforts and condom distribution. Supporting treatment...
