Leaders are the person who has certain sets of qualities, characters, destinations or goals, etc., and having the capacity to make other follow them for their deeds which can benefit a entire group.Hence leaders cannot be born but they are trained to become the one.

Leadership throughout the world evolved in various ways from animals to humans. They were simply followed by others for good sake.In ancient world ,in order to gain territories and extend their borders the king usually used the techniques of war .Here the king is the leader of the entire team by giving the courage to his subjects to participate and by only targetting success.eg., Alexander ,Kings of various nations.Later in the 18th and 19th century the freedom struggle was carried our in many nations through violence as well as by non violence. These non violent leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, etc., achieved their success by their strong desires making others to support and follow them.The recent 20th century leaders are elected through elections one such best leader who trained himself to lead an entire nation (US) which stands as a role model for others is Barack Obama.

In healthcare setting a leadership is a crucial thing to be followed because a quality care is possible only when there is a good leader. For eg., A patient admitted under a physician for a condition is guided by them to make the treatment possible with the co workers like nurses, surgeons, aides ,etc., They are supervised nu a supervisor ,corrected and directed towards the right path.This over time leads the other professionals to gain knowledge and acts as a base for future leadership role.
