o Moral judgments and personal morality can present significant issues to health care workers when it comes to providing treatment to patients. Think about a health-related situation which would call your personal moral judgments into question. Evaluate the way in which your judgment would be affected by this situation and defend your position. How would the moral judgments of others play into the same scenario? Defend your position.

Moral judgement: Moral judgements are evaluations or opinions formed as whether some action or inaction, intention, motive, character trait, or a person as a whole is ( more or less) good or bad as measured against some standards of good.

Personal morality: It is stated as everyone has some personal moral code. The rules they personally live by and believe to be morally right and sound. Each moral code is different and may not be legally sound, but according to the person's values it is moral.

As a nurse, I render care to the patients everyday. One day I had been in night duty a case as been admitted with brain dead with 1% chance of recovery. Though doctors and all nurses judged that the patient has poor prognosis and there is no chance of surviving. But by looking at the attenders and based in their hope I tried to care the client by continuously monitoring administering prescribed drugs, maintaining normal vitals though I question many times to me as he is a brain dead client he cannot be able to recover to normal and rendering care also not even had any to use. Whether to continue care or not. But as a nurse my professional responsibility is to care, even the patient is dying it's my duty to comfort the client in dying. Till the client is taken to home by their attendants my responsibility is to care though everyone feels it is unnecessary to keep the client in hospital as there is poor prognosis.
