Axel Zein promotes a new way we manage businesses today: think of business as a sport. In sports, the team is decisive; the team with the best players usually wins. And sports are fun. So what qualifies a manager to be the perfect coach for his team?

Who is doing the work in a normal company? It is not the CEO, not the managers but the engineers, the guys on the shop floor and the sales reps. They are the players on the ield. A manager is supposed to be their coach. But we are not educated to be coaches. During our careers we usually encounter a couple of really bad bosses, many mediocre managers and only a few outstanding ones.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. It is said correct that the business be treated like a sport where each individual plays a role , we can't depend on a single person for every task of an organization. A person can be good in one skill but for other skill it is not necessary that he will be excellent in that skill too. Also a person can't perform many roles simultaneously. For eg . Leonel messe may be a good striker of the football but he cannot perform a goalkeeper role also and that too with the same level of excellence. Similarly, richard branson of virgin airline may be a good manager but it doesn't mean that he can also fly aeroplane or solve any technical problem relating to aeroplane with the same level of excellence, they have to depend on other person's for the same having requisite skills. Thus, it is almost similar to sport.
