Humanization in short mean to make humane, kind or gentle. Humanization is a matter of recognizing the inherent dignity and rights of all members of the human family. It helps in viewing the moral norms which reduce aggression and violence. Viewing ones opponent as evil or considering as less than human makes to undertake severe measures and get in to violence. To humanize is to engage with human.

Dehumanization is defined as process by which one person or group views others as not worthy of humane treatment. Dehumanization leads to crimes and violence against mankind in which the innocent people becomes the victims. Dehumanization prevents human beings from achieving the freedom to understand and change their condition.

The quoteb by Freire mean that attempting to liberate the oppressed without their reflective participation in liberalization is to treat them as objects. A condition of being oppressed is ruled injustly or cruelly. So a person who becomes continous victim of this cruelty tend to become oppressors.
