Answer #1

24. Total consummated calories for one day is 3500 calories. In which, 20% is from protein. So number of calories from protein can be calculated as:

= (20 x 3500)/100

= 70000/100

= 700 kcal

Answer is: 700 kcal

25. Protein provides 4 kcal per gram, so the total calorie from the consumed protein can be calculated as

= (20 x 3500)/100

= 70000/100

= 700 kcal

And since 1 gram protein = 4 kcal

So for 700 kcal = 700/4 gram

= 175 g

175 gram of fat produces 700 kcal.

So answer is 175 grams
