Organized crime is the criminal activities that are conducted under the influence of powerful people. The main purpose of a business organization is to earn profits. The business organizations also intend to maximize the wealth of the shareholders. The company always tries to ensure that it is able to provide good returns to the investors of their company. In this process, companies sometimes indulge in organized crime.
1. Greed: One of the mail reasons for organized crime is the greed for more money in the minds of the top management of the company. They fall prey to the greed of earning more money and become rich.
2. Influence: There are people with power and influence in the society. If such people become a part of the business then they use their influence to carry out any illegal activity.
3. Corruption: The existence of corrupt officers in the government and in the administration system makes them also a part of the organized crimes in business.
4. Loopholes in system: The existing loopholes in the legal system give the scope for carrying out organized crime in business.
5. Formation of syndicate: The people in power come together and form a group. This helps in conducting the organized crime and getting a part of profit.
6. Lack of Moral values: The importance and relevance of moral values is reducing day by day. This lack of moral value and ethics leads to more of organized crimes.
