It is the access to the internet from a network which is not on the internet. The gateway allows the two different types of network to "talk" to each other.

2. Dial up connection

This provides connections to internet through a dial up connection.

3. Leased connection

It is the secure dedicated and most expensive level of internet connection.

4.DSL connection

Digital Subscriber Line is a family of technologies that provide digital data transmission over the wires of a local telephone network.

1. The collaboration platform

This type is very big on two way publishing. Users publish just as much as they consume.

2. The internal web site

this type is based on one way publishing. people who interact with it are divided into two groups one is consumer and second is publisher.

3.The distributed intranet

in larger organisation your intranet very quickly becomes decentralized.

1. Business to Business

Here the company doing transaction with each other

2. Business to consumer

Here company sell their goods or services directly to the consumer.

3.Consumer to business

Here consumer provide a goods or some services to the company.

4. consumer to consumer

Here the consumers are in direct contact with each other.
