Answer #1

Literature review

A descriptive study was conducted to assess the knowledge of nurses regarding delirium and to evaluate how they assess, prevent and treat delirium in elderly patients.A total number of twelve registered nurses, who are working in a medium hopital at Western Canada , are selected as samples. Interview method is used to collect data from the samples .Results shows that nurses are having little formal knowledge regarding delirium. Thus the study concluded that delirium related education would benefit nurses .

The author's review of literature (studies) supported the research purpose/problem to a good extent. But the review could have covet a broad range of the articles available. Some information given in the studies appears as it is included for the sake of just padding the review.

To create a strong literature review: literature review should incorporate what you have read into your focused analysis, to show your understanding of the research. The citations should be relevant. A literature review shows the readers that you have in-depth knowledge of your topic.
