In your opinion, what are the major barriers of this reluctance, and how to overcome them.

Answer: Telemedicine is one of the way of delivering the Healthcare at modern era. Telemedicine is one of the most recent advancements in the digital transformation of healthcare. Virtual healthcare has shows many benefits to the healthcare organizations. It has also improved the patient accessibility. It is also cost effective.

But there are some barriers to the telemedicine such as:

There are differences among Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance company which provide various payment and procedures for the telemedicine which causes confusion among patients.

So, to overcome with this problem there must be proper understanding of virtual services procedures and qualifications. Patient should also know about the reimbursement for each payer which is very important.

The other barrier is the trust of the patient to these kind of virtual healthcare. Because this is new in the healthcare system and gaining trust of the patient.

This can be achieved by providing proper knowledge to the patient about the benefits of the telemedicines.
