information in the health care system. It provides patient-centric
information to improve the quality and efficiency of care. It makes
innovations for HIE to support nationwide health information
exchange and interoperability.
It is a nonprofit organization statewide EHR makes Alaskans access
and share their medical records with secure health information
exchange. It has a commitment to provide meaningful health sharing
services in the patient continuous community service. Key players
in this HIE include multidisciplinary provider team includes
doctors, nurses, health care providers, pharmacist, and patients.
It provides timely, comprehnsive patient infromation to address
quality, safety, and effeicny at a point of care. There is an
increase provider burden due to the high overwhelmed amount of data
available through data sharing it makes less effective patient
care. there are fewer stakeholders collaboration for patient focus
improvement activity. It can be overcome by stakeholders'
involvement to reduce administrative burden and it strengthens the
health data exchange options. The collaboration process can
increase efficiency and improve the beneficiary, HIPPA regulations
can reduce the burden and restrict the data sharing and improve
outcome evaluation.
