Euthanasia in simple is also called as Physician Assisted Suicide where a medical support is received to end a life who can survive only six months or less than that due to certain terminal illness.
A patient may want a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) order in order to have a peaceful death without any life saving or aggressive procedure like (CPR,ventilator support, etc.,) during a critical situations like cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest ,etc.,The main reason is the patient who is already weak doesn't want any harsh treatment on them.
