Answer #1

Doctrine of flux also considers the aspects of unity of opposites. Heraclitus is thought to have a logical incoherence. He says that everything is constantly changing. He also makes remarks that opposite things are identical. He says that everything is and is not at the same time.

According to his doctrine it become very perplex to define our personality in different time periods. Our personality changes according to the circumstances and situations. We behave differently in our school. We behave in different manner at our working place. Our behaviour changes according to the places and situations.

We feel more relaxed in the company of our friends. Feelings of hesitation become dominant in front of our employer and seniors. We show our true personality in front of our closed ones such as our family members. We may have different personalities at same time.

Suppose we are enjoying a movie with our family members. At the same time if we receive a call from office then our way of talking changes with significant amount. I think Heraclitus is right in his opinions. A person may have different identities at the same time.

It is just the matter of time and situations. Our surroundings play a major role in describing our personality.
