Paleo diet is a modern nutritional plan based on the presumed ancient diet of wild plants and animals that various hominid species habitually consumed during the Paleolithic era.
Unlike most fad diets it is sustainable long-time and promotes health, well-being and longevity.
The benefits of following the diet include fat loss, muscle gain, more energy, less stress, smoother skin, better sleep, healthier teeth, stronger bones, better digestion, more fertility, stronger immune system, slowed ageing, control or remission of conditions and diseases.
One of the main facts is that the Paleo diet is not simply a weight loss diet.
Then also the same way it is not recommended for everyone because of :
1. Electrolyte balance and BP: Paleos don't have much salt
2. Cereal grains and cancer: Paleo don't eat but we need
them.
3. Energy intake/output uncoupling & insulin resistance:
Exercise no longer needed for food quest (true but only seen this
change in the last 100 years)
4. Dietary fat & coronary heart disease may be increase.
Any way the Paleo diet has the potential to be healthy. The typical paleo diet, however, puts most at risk for deficiencies in calcium and vitamin D, which are critical to bone health. At the same time, saturated fat and protein can be consumed far above recommended levels, increasing the risk of kidney and heart disease and certain cancers.
In reference to tue paleo diet Is the diet safe and benifial for everyone (e:g., generally...

These reference values are calculated taking into account that different groups of people have different nutrient requirements (ex.children have different requirements than adults, women have different requirements than men, etc) and also the fact that there are individual variations in nutrient requirements due to individual variations in human physiology (ex. some people have less efficient mineral absorption in the gut, some women lose more iron during their menstruation, some people have higher vitamin needs, etc). The one situation where an entire, closed population was tested was the Diamond Princess cruise ship and its quarantine passengers. The case fatality rate there was 1.0%, but this was a largely elderly population, in which the death rate from Covid-19 is much higher. Projecting the Diamond Princess mortality rate onto the age structure of the U.S. population, the death rate among people infected with Covid-19 would be 0.125%. But since this estimate is based on extremely thin data —...
