ESL - ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

It is the teaching of English to people who speak different language and who live in a country where English is the main language spoken.

WHAT ARE THE THING YOU MIGHT OBSERVE? First of all, as an observer one have to understand the difference students present in a classroom. It helps them to understand their ability towards a language. Next in hand, their concentration level should be observed to develop a new skills. Their ability to learn should be assessed individually to give separate attention to each students.

WHAT WOULD BE THE DIFFERENCE IN OBSERVING ESL STUDENTS vs ADULTS?

Teaching English as a second language can be an exciting career for many. Moreover, it creates a job opportunity and are likely to come across a wide range of different people. Some may be good at English and others may need an extra attention to develop English as a second language. Before going ahead, however, the observer should need to remember that adults, children and indeed teenagers are different from each other.

1. Children brains are more elastics than adults. As a result, it is easier for the children to learn a new language. However, as they become older it is difficult for them to learn a new language.

2. All children loves story time and on the other hand, all adults and children loves video games. As an English trainer, one have a keen observer on the way the children learn more and according to their interests the trainer can develop a language easily and effectively.

3. Next area deny on their topic of interests, humor and activities. A keen observation on their area of interests can help them to mold a new language even if they are not a native speaker.
