how do we end the premium dilemna and design the disease process out and eliminate the carriers/payors altogether? Do hospitals get together and put together what they will accept and go direct to the patient. How to we redesign all of this, and is the electronic medical record required?

There are many dilemmas arising in the workflow of the health care system. Not covering of preexisting condition, increasing the cost of health care, the gap in the health care services, problems in stakeholders and vendors. Electronic health record has to be redesigned in order to improve the process of outcome of disease and health. The redesign of EMR should be based on analyzing of current workflows. The new design should improve the efficiency of the workflow of the organization. It increases the care coordination at all levels and enhances the quality and safety of health care. The electronic medical record should meet future needs. It should minimize the mistakes that arise in the current workflow.
