Information supplied to consumers by the government always helps ,not rarely in better decision making.

Explanation: Huge number of people's die by consuming adulterated food's, medicines, etc. Government aware consumers from different campaigns,advertisement,banners, etc, to how to select proper qualified (IFS, ISO) standard products.

Sometimes in market it is hard to differentiate between original and fake products, for eg. Jewellery, nowadays many fake jewellery products are being sold at price of original one, so for better consumer decision government has prescribed certain certified code , that consumer have to take in consideration while purchasing it.

This all information and various codes by government and standardization agencies is just to protect the rights of consumer, which would helps consumer for better decision making, while purchasing certain products and services, which would be safe for them, justify the worth and etc.
