You are a defense lawyer for a woman who has suffered from premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). She has stabbed her partner in the arm and has been charged with attempted murder. How would you use empirical data to prepare to defend her? In what ways are sex, endocrinology and/or biological rhythms implicated in affective disorders?

Being a defense lawyer ,I should and must work ethically for the well being of others . In this case the women is suffering from PMDD , and she has stabbed her partner in the arm . For this she has been charged with murder attempt . Empirical data are the data which are received by means of senses . So, in this case first of all empirical data has to be collected about the stabbing attempt done by the female . There are chances that her husband have done that himself . Any witness who have seen this happening will be called for evaluation .

Many diseases are affected by hormonal imbalance , biological rhythms. They can create such a mess that the individual is unable to mange themselves. Example the hormonal fluctuation causes many pro lens for the females ,they make her more irritable , depressed ,etc.
