Vegetarianism is now a days considered to be the most healthiest choice of food style.Some of the main reasons for Americans to turn down the meat and prefer a vegetarian diet is to prevent or reduce cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus especially type 2 ,obesity, certain cancer, renal calculi, loss of bone density, lower the higher cholesterol levels, decrease blood pressure, etc.,Though this is a good idea it has its own drawbacks which has to be supplemented in other forms.
