• Approach the patient with an audible ,clear normal tone voice while beginning to grab attention of the patient
• Express the concern to help the client and support them to come out through their problems
• Instill confidence and hope in depressed patient
• Do not argue or speak in a loder tone to aggressive patient because this can trigger anger and turn into violence
