Answer #1

1.

Order dose 0.75 litter at a rate of 40 ml per hour.

It means 750 ml in 40 ml per hour

so,

750ml = 40 x 60min = 1125min

Answer- It will be completed in 1125minute that means 18 hours 45 minute.

2.

Order dose half of 1.5liter for 1.5 days

drop factor 10drops/ml

that means we have to infuse 750ml in 36hours

drop calculation formula- (total volume in ml \div time in minute) \times drop factor

750ml = 2160minute x 10drops/ml = 3.47drops (3 to 4 drops/minute)

Answer- Then we have to infuse 3 to 4 drops/minute.

3.

Order dose 2.5lit for 8hours.

drop factor 20drops/ml

which means we have to infuse 2500ml in 480minute.

25000ml = 4800minute x 20drops/ml = 104drops/min

Answer- then we have to infuse 104drops/minute.

4.

Order dose 0.75liter for 6 hours.

drop factor 60drops/ml.

that means we have to infuse 750ml in 360 minutes.

750ml = 360minute x 60drops/ml = 125drops/min

Answer- then we have to infuse 125drops/minute.
