I need help with making better dietary choices. I considered myself to be a healthy person with no health issues, but I know there is always room for improvement.

Healthy foods are the ones that contain proper and adequate nutrients in them to keep the body fit. People generally taste instead of knowing what kind of food is beneficial for them. include fruits and green vegetables in your food because that will keep you away from the diseases and builds immunity. junk foods satisfy the taste buds but on the other hand they increase abnormal levels of sugar, salts, and carbohydrates in the body. so you should limit these foods. healthy food will not only keep your body fit but it will also have a good impact on the functionality of the brain. you should include whole-grain cereal foods with little or no processing. if you are working, then keep healthy snacks with you like carrots (you can take carrot juice also), yoghurt, whole-wheat crackers, etc. every body type is different. you should also observe yourself that what kind of food has an impact on your health. low-fat meals and dairy products are good for everyone. if you are non-vegetarian, then include eggs in your diet (not daily). eggs have a high protein quality.

take the fruits that have anti-oxidant properties like apple, avocados, and berries. chicken breasts are low in calories and rich in proteins. nuts like almonds and chia seeds have vitamin E in them. walnuts are loaded with fibres.

you must include broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, cucumber, onion and tomatoes in your diet as they have extreme health benefits. if you are concerned about your weight then you must take brown rice, Quinoa seeds, oatmeals, legumes such as green beans and lentils. you must not miss whole milk in your daily routine. extra-vergin olive oil is the healthiest vegetable oil.
