HIV and AIDS

Chicago Department of Public health has been providing its services since 2016 for the patients who are suffering from HIV and AIDS.But AIDS Foundation of Chicago has been rendering its services for more than 30 years.It has been striving for prevention of HIV transmission by conducting blood tests, identified positive cases were provided effective care and thus creating barriers for avoiding transmission.AFC provides affordable low income houses with all the facilities to assist patients with disabilities and also psychologically affected thus focuses on internal care.Also the foundation provides food, medications, transportation etc. along with shelter.There are also many servicing organizations which are in favour of identifying and providing treatments.

Breast cancer and disparities

Breast Cancer treatment has been taken care by Advocate of Health, Chicago.They work on identifying the cases with advanced technology in order to screen and also provide effective treatment.Advanced detection and treatment is the main goal of Advocate of Health.The technology used are 3D Mammography which is very effective in capturing multiple images in all angles which gives a clear picture of the anatomy of breasts.Multiple health care advocates feasibly located in near by areas with best experienced breast and plastic surgeons, oncologists, radiologists etc.

Teen Pregnancy

Actually the Department of Public Health, Chicago is in practice of avoiding teenage pregnancies to protect the health of teenagers by educating them regarding sexually transmitted diseases.Chicago Government had started teen parent services programme by providing all the services required during pregnancy such as health checkups, medications, transportations and deliveries.Supporting teenage parents in terms of their life dealing processes.
