ROLE OF RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
the respiratory system is what allowos us to breath and exhale carbon dioxide for oxygen
FOUR CATEGORIES OF PULMONARY DISEASES
1)Obstructive
the lungs which are suppose to expand when you take air in for some reason,it is not expanding properly and since oxygen is the main point we lack oxygen,so what happen is the lungs for a varietyof reasons become stiff and hard to blow up like a balloon that is been dipped in paper mache and it can't blow up properly.
2) Restrictive
Instead of letting the lungs collaps back to it is normal size at the end of an exhale and stays expanded like this. There is diffrent reason that restrictive deases can occure some times let's say there is a mucous plug. an air can't get out or some times these airways collapse because the walls have loss.
3)Ventilation
is some thing is going on with exhale process, where between the air sac and the blood supply , some thing is not working there.
4)Perfusion
if something is wrong with the blood supply, blood can not get to the lungs and come out
