Health care department is responsible for giving out services everyone with or without insurance. People without insurance and underserved needs special attention. In the United States, there is a program called Medicaid which is implemented for serving different purposes and needs of common people including those without insurance and economically backward. There are some criteria that need to be fulfilled for Medicaid benefits but always helpful for those with huge medical expenses and difficulties. Other options include social security benefits. Health care department can direct the patients with low income and underserved to the social security office for the availability of medical benefits. In addition, there are many hospital cares assisted programs and financial aid programs are available. One of the programs in those categories is rural health clinics. Some of the community health centres and free clinics are providing discounted health care services for historically underserved and people without any medical insurance.
