Value belief pattern is focused on an individuals values and beliefs.Beliefs refer to the assumption that we make about the world and values are those things we stress important and it include honesty, effort, loyalty, faithfulness etc.
The questionnaire mentioned in the above question was developed as FHP( Functional health pattern) template for community assessment data with an aim of completion of collaborative learning community assignment.
Each and every community has a diverse of culture, custom, caste, taste, geographical pattern, religeous practices , values etc. The government official perform community assessment in collaboration with health centres to have a collaborative learning about the community development its values, believes and practices to better implement the health promotion activities with coordination and better community participation.
* The community people value the health promotion measures , strictly it should not hamper their cultural beliefs and practices.
* The community people joined their hands in natural calamities and for fund raising programs to bring back their nation to normal life.
* The community irrespective of caste or creed joined collectively in fund raising programs for poor children education, constructing house for the needy after natural calamities like flood, earth quake, soil erosion etc. Food was also prepared in mass and transported to hunger struck area.
*Immunization rate has increased over the previous year and death rate has decreased with improved health measures
* The community support the need of effective preventive measures against health and natural calamities and do cooperate in activities of prevention measures. Active participation in health camps and sticking on to immunozation schedule are examples of community participation in preventive measures.
* There are lack or shortage of staff in respect to staff to community population ratio. The number of staff to cover a huge population is lacking and the staff struggle to implement the promotion and preventive activities and to maintain the survey reports alone.
Staffing pattern has to be improved in community health centres and availability of resources also to be met by the government officials in health centres.
The referral systems are working actively, for those cases which cannot managed by the health centres. The care which can be provided by health centres has limitation when it comes to RTA , ICU services, major surgeries etc are refered to multispeciality hospitals.
