Answer #1

Answer: The nurse should instruct the patient to wear special wraparound sunglasses most of the time to avoid the enterance of direct light in the eyes and also metal eye protected for the bed time. The Patient should avoid area which is covered with dirt or more prone to dirt. Patient needs to take special care of his eyes.

To prevent the eye infection, patient has to apply eye drops several times a day atleast for a week. The NSAID eye drop is generally used from prevention of macular oedema after cataract surgery.
