it is important to leave own prejudices against any culture, race, ethnicity, people with disabilities, religious or spiritual beliefs, gender (including transgender), intersex, generational differences, sexual orientation or sexual identity and show respect and show respect for differences of person in workplace. A workplace is where one can find multiple type of people with different of opinion, behaviour, attitude, style etc.,working towards the common goal of the organization.  It is important to exhibit a mutual respect for all irrespective of any differences. This will enhace the balance among people by a good communication, listening to the ideas of others before arriving to a decision, correction of others mistake in a respectable , trainable and learnable way,being polite and kind to colleague, not invading in others personal life and accepting the view points of others onnthe basus of their background to name a few will improve the teamwork and thus lead yo success.

In case of failure to follow this in the workplace, it can lead to conflicts ,difference of opinion and finally affecting the performance or improvement of a team or an organization as a whole.
