Answer: Bullying is frequent in nursing profession as most of the time the newly appointed nurses face the bullying. Some of the nurses having better experience in the profession, intentionally bully the junior nurses to make them feel inferior.

The bullying can be minimise by some of the methods such as:

  • Taking stand against the bullying as well as make sure to stop it.
  • Being proactive and lead the bully knows that his or her behaviour is not making someone feel comfortable.
  • Having a great self confidence.
  • Act to the behaviour with proper and legal approach.
  • Create awareness among people to identify the bullying.
