In 20th February majority of the leadership styles were about monopoly .or autocratic leadership but as years have passed by leadership styles have also evolved as per the modern generation.

Few new leadership styles are

Democratic: Gone are the days when one boss use to take decisions nowadays leaders are open to their subordinates they value their inputs and ideas .it's a collective decision is taken for the betterment of the institutions.Nurse leaders can use this style of leadership by involving their senior staff nurses in developing innovations to ease their work,they can ask opinion on various process and systems which can help the no of hours spend for a particular task.

Inspirational style:this is when the leader inspires the team to take up new challenges,motivates them to identify newer innovations technology,Nurse leaders can use their subordinates subject specific expertise in bring some quality initiativves for change for eg a nurse who is inclined to computers will be inspire to develop IT or apps to ease the daily routine of the nurse can indents,report collection,request for investigations.

Transactional style: this style of leadership is where a subordinate is rewarded in the form of an incentive for her exemplary work.a nurse leader can give extra day off,monetory benefits to the nurse who does no medication errors in a month,a nurse who has excellent communication gets a promotion ,so these rewards and incentives will challenge the other lot to do perfect work,communicate better.
