In addition, explain why these differences in structure exist for the two facility types and identify any potential obstacles you anticipate coming from their structures.

The organizational structure of LTC for the care of the elderly should be flawed with managing chronic illness and to increase the expectancy of life. Whereas LTC within the care of the disabled deals with the personal care and assistance which limits their day to day activities and thereby improve the quality of life. It offers supportive devices and services to liable within the society, but the LTC of elderly meet the needs of the elderly community to live the rest of life happily.

The differences exist due to the variation in their needs and expectation. Elderly people need care to overcome the challenges with their age-related illness. But the disabled care structured to improve the quality of life.

Lack of financial support from the private and federal agencies, shortfall of home care residents to meet the demand of services are the obstacles facing currently with the LTC structure.
