Answer #1

The Schedule 2 and 3 medicines can be issued only under prescription of a health care professional because this drug has a high chance of abuse and dependence (physical and psychological )

The Advanced Practical Nurse practitioners can prescribe this medicine only when they have written colloborative agreement for prescriptive authority of non scheduled drug (CAPA-NS) with a physician, who has the same prescription authority and actively working in the state of Kentucky. The NP should furnish the CAPA-NS to the Ketuncky Board of Nursing Licensure with the physician name.To become this the Nurse practitioners should have a 4 years of experience under the physician. Without this they are limited to prescribe this drug.

The class 2 drugs are limited to 72 hours and no refills

Psychostimulants only for 30 days and no refills

Schedule 3 drugs are limited to 30 days and no refills
